Wickedleak’s budget smartphone, the Wammy One , was available for sale onwww.wickedleak.org in India on Saturday, and it just took just 24 hours for 10000 units to be listed as ‘out of stock’. The company posted the latest sale figures on Facebook via its official page (Fb.com/Wickedleak).
Interestingly, this was the first sale that saw up to 10000 Wammy One units going on sale.
Wickedleak, the exclusive online maker of the handsets in India, claimed that over 2,00,000 people were registered for the sale of the Wammy One, which is priced at Rs. 7,999.
Considering that limited stocks of the Wammy One would be available in India, the popular e-commerce giant had revealed that it would limit orders to one phone per registered email ID per sale.
Wickedleak is also bundling a screen protector with the Wammy One, and notes that orders will be delivered in 7-10 business days. Next Stock of Wammy One will be available on 5th December 2014.
