Lenovo is having a gala time with its flash sales. After a super successful flash sale of Lenovo A6000 smartphone on 28 January, the company organised the second flash sale today and managed to sell 20,000 units in just three seconds. The third flash sale of the affordable LTE smartphone is scheduled to happen on 11 February. The registrations for the third flash sale on Flipkart.com will start today 6PM.
Like in its first flash sale, Lenovo A6000 was out of stock before anyone could imagine and many buyers were left disappointed. However, for those who have managed to add the device to their carts, can pay for it till 6PM today, else it will automatically be removed from the cart.
It is noticeable that the company has not revealed the number of devices that went on sale in the first two instances, until the sale was over. Let’s take a quick look at the specifications of the Lenovo A6000 smartphone.
The smartphone was first showcased at the recently concluded CES. Lenovo A6000 comes packed with a 12.7-cm (5-inch) HD (1280×720 pixels) display, along with a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 64-bit capability. It sports 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the company has added an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel front shooter. It Lenovo A6000 also has twin-speakers with Dolby Digital Plus technology and is powered by a 2,300mAh battery.
It is a dual-SIM device and its connectivity options include Dual-Mode LTE support (both TD-LTE Band 40 and FD-LTE Band 20), Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat alongwith company’s Vibe UI 2.0.
