DigitalOcean, the cloud computing platform loved by developers worldwide, today announced the appointment of Prabhakar Jayakumar as the India Country Manager. In his new role, Prabhakar will use DigitalOcean’s offerings to help grow and support the local startup ecosystem, continuing the company’s mission of empowering software developers and startups around the world.
Prabhakar’s key responsibilities will be building localized go-to-market strategies to increase DigitalOcean’s awareness. He will also actively be looking at securing partnerships and building key relationships with developers in the community, as the company gets ready to launch its first datacenter in Bangalore this summer.
