After being listed on the company website yesterday, the Xolo Q2000 smartphone has now been made available on online retailer Flipkart. The device is priced at Rs 14,296 and adds to the company’s QCore series of smartphones. The smartphone follows the recently launched Xolo Q800 in the QCore series, which is priced at Rs 11,999. In addition, the domestic manufacturer has also launched the Xolo A500L in the market at a price of Rs 5,999. The A500L is of course in the budget range of smartphones, while the other two are in the mid range smartphones category.
Talking about the specifications of the Xolo Q2000, the device has a 13.9-cm (5.5-inch) IPS display, which offers resolutions of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is a phablet device, which is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589W processor and has the 357 MHz PowerVR SGX544 graphics processing unit. The device also has 1 GB of RAM and runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. In addition, Xolo has added a 13 mega pixel auto focus camera at the back of the device, with a 2 mega pixel front camera.
In terms of storage, the Xolo Q2000 has 8 Gb of internal storage, which can be extended up to 32 GB using the micro-SD card slot. For connectivity, the device has 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB options. The company had first listed the device with TDD-LTE connectivity, but as pointed out in our earlier story, this was only a mistake
