Nine people were killed and 32 others injured in an explosion in a crowded Dilsukhnagar area in Hyderabad, eye witnesses said.
The blast occurred near a theatre in Dilsukhnagar, a busy commercial area in the city.
Eye witnesses said they heard two loud explosions.
The cause of the explosions was not immediately known. Police are yet to confirm casualties.
Ambulances and police vehicles rushed to the area.
