After launching the ‘world’s thinnest’ laptop in India, Acer has expanded its line-up in the country with the launch of the Spin 7. Bearing a price tag of Rs 1,09,000, the laptop will be available across key retail stores in India.
For those unaware, the laptop was launched during IFA 2016 conference back in August this year.
Acer Spin 7 features 14-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The laptop comes preloaded with Acer’s Colour Intelligence software, which adjusts gamma and saturation in real time without affecting power consumption.
The Windows 10-based laptop is powered by a 7th-gen Intel Kaby Lake SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage. It also has dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports and a large glass touchpad.
Acer claims that the laptop is ‘sleek and contemporary’. The Spin 7 has a matte black chassis with polished silver hinges and diamond-cut edges around the touchpad. It’s claimed to have a battery life of up to 8 hours.
The laptop comes with a 360-degree hinge and weighs around 1.2kg.
“We are extremely excited to launch one of our flagship products in India, something that we are really proud of. Considering that Acer has always focused on delivering industry leading innovations, the Spin 7 is a reflection of just that. Our top-of-the-line Spin 7 will allow consumers to enjoy extreme portability without compromising on performance or versatility,” said Chandrahas Panigrahi, senior director and consumer business head, Acer India.
