Airtel is putting efforts to simplify it’s customer journey towards the digital transformation. Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”) today launched the Airtel Thanks app.
This application will help the Airtel Prepaid mobile customers to access the Airtel Thanks app in different Indian languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Malayalam and Punjabi. The feature is also LIVE on Android and will be available on iOS shortly.
Several other Indian regional languages such as Kannadda, Assamese and Odia will also be introduced shortly. Using this application people in different cities and even small towns can now have the digital experience as this application eliminates the language barriers.
Adarsh Nair, Chief Product Officer, Airtel said that at Airtel, their primary focus to solve customer problems and strive for making their experiences better. As India steps towards a digital age around 35% of Airtel Thanks app users hail from Tier 2/3 towns and rural markets. The Airtel Thanks app with no language barrier will be easy accessible to these customers.
Airtel Thanks app is the digital gateway to all Airtel services. It has a customised interface – Silver, Gold, Platinum – based on customer ARPU. Using the app Airtel smartphone customers make recharges, do bill payments, check real time data usage/balance details. Customers can also log complaints using the app.
