Ajay Data (Founder and CEO of Data XGen Technologies) was elected as UASG’s chair for the first time in 2019 against GoDaddy’s Vice-President Richard Madinger, and now again according to the results that came out on Friday announced by ICANN, he was elected as UASG’s chair again for the next term.
After completing two years, he was elected again by UASG members. Ajay is the first Indian to hold a position at Universal Acceptance Steering Group.
“I am thankful to over 600 members of UASG to elect me as a share of the Universal Acceptance Steering Group. It’s also a proud moment to lead this group which is working to break the language barriers to bring billions online,” Ajay said in a statement.
Jaipur-based Data XGen technologies has been bringing e-mail address in various languages for user feasibility including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Marathi and even supported development of addresses in Tahi, Korean and Arabic.
