Alcatel Announces Onetouch Flash2, A Selfie- Centric Phone
Alcatel has been aggressively launching Android powered smartphones. The latest offering by the tech company is a selfie-centric phone. Dubbed as the OneTouch Flash 2, the handset has been introduced in an event in China. The device is expected to be unveiled in India soon via Flipkart.
Alcatel OneTouch Flash 2 comes with a 12.7 cm (5-inch) HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. Powered by a 1.3 GHz octa core MediaTek MT6735 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, the device comes with expandability to 128GB via microSD card.
The smartphone sports a massive 13MP autofocus rear camera with a dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera to capture selfies. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and offers 2G/3G/4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, micro USB port and Bluetooth connectivity features. Packed with an enormous 3000mAh battery, it offers 10 hours of talk time, 30 hours of music playback and 600 hours of standby time. Though, the pricing details are still under the wraps, the Alcatel OneTouch Flash 2 is likely to come in Volcanic Grey and Mica White variants.
