TCL Communication’s mobile brand Alcatel Flash is now evaluating the idea of manufacturing in India. In the last couple of months, India has witnessed many Chinese mobile companies announcing their manufacturing plans. Although Alcatel Flash has not made any concrete plans on manufacturing but it hopes to tie up with a contract manufacturer in the country when they start manufacturing.
For Alcatel Flash, India is a very strategic market and this is the reason that the company wants to manufacture in this country. It feels that by starting a manufacturing base it will be able to cater to this market far better. India is the top market for the company in the South East Asian region.
The company on Tuesday launched their latest handset in the country Flash 2 which is priced at Rs 9,299. Alcatel Flash is planning to launch two more devices next year, where it will providing the customers a better experience on mobile photography feature.
