Alcatel OneTouch has recently revealed its plans to unveil Flash 2 smartphone by the end of this month. It also announced that the device would be launched at an online press conference which could be viewed on the company’s official website. Meanwhile, images of the handset with the tagline ‘The power of green’, has been leaked online.
Alcatel OneTouch Flash 2 is said to be the successor of Alcatel OneTouch Flash which was introduced exactly a year ago. If we recall, the phone came with a 13.97cm (5.5-inch) IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz MediaTek MTK6592M processor coupled with 1GB RAM, the phone featured 8GB of inbuilt storage with expandability up to 32GB via microSD card. Packed with a 3200mAh battery, it ran on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
With the connectivity of Wi-Fi; Bluetooth; GPRS/ EDGE; GPS; 3G, it had a13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, besides 5MP front-facing snapper.
If all goes as anticipated, Alcatel OneTouch Flash 2 might see light of the day on September 22. With Wi-Fi; Bluetooth; GPRS/ EDGE; GPS; 3G connectivity, the phone would come with an extended battery backup of 3200mAh. However, the upcoming handset will sport 12.7cm (5-inch) instead of 13.97cm (5.5-inch) display as per the reports.
