Almost half of the existing users of iPhone devices are planning to upgrade to the iPhone 5S or switch to the iPhone 5C, a survey by Ask.com suggests. According to the survey, out of over 4,000 users, 46 per cent of those surveyed said they were planning to change their phones and get the iPhone 5S or 5C immediately after it has been announced. The 54 per cent of the remaining entrants said that they will upgrade after some time.
The survey also asked the users what features they would like to see the most. In this, 40 per cent of the users went for improved battery life, while 34 per cent of the users said that they are looking forward to the fingerprint scanning technology, which is expected to be a part of the iPhone 5S. Interestingly, 10 per cent of the entrants also asked for improvements in Siri. 12 per cent went for new colours in iPhone devices.
The Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are to be unveiled at 10 pm India time, which is less than five hours away now. There have been many rumours about the device with the new Golden, champagne and graphite colours and the fingerprint scanning technology being the biggest ones. The company has invited the media to its Cupertino, California headquarters for the unveiling.
