Amazon India has surpassed its rivals like Flipkart and Snapdeal to become the most visited e-commerce platform in just two-and-a-half years of launch in the Indian market. Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos said this in a personalised e-mail letter to all its customers. In order to celebrate the occasion, the e-commerce giant will give Gift Cards worth Rs 200 to all customers who place an order worth Rs 500. The Gift Card will be added to the customer’s account by January 20, 2016, the company said. According to the company, A user can only avail of one Gift Card. However, users can opt for the cash-on-delivery payment mode. The letter also mentions statistics of research and analytics firm com Score that talks about Amazon’s leading position in the mushrooming e-commerce market in India.
