The two brothers will also share spectrum in 800 MHz band across 17 circles.
The cost of the deal was not disclosed to the media. As per the contract both companies also plan to enter into bilateral Intra Circle Roaming (ICR) plans.
The two companies are almost practically gearing up to function as a single entity as far as infrastructure and spectrum are concerned. RJIL and RCom already have tower sharing and optical fibre sharing deals in place.
The spectrum trading and sharing deal completes the integration between the two companies.
The spectrum groupings between RJIL and RCom will result in network synergies and enhanced network capacity.
Both companies expect respectable savings in operating costs and future investment in their networks.
