Ambi Labs is a similar startup and their product is in IoT (Internet of Things) domain. Ambi Climate is the device that can turn any AC into smart AC. This gadget can connect your existing Air Conditioner with compatible smartphone. The smartphone then acts like a remote controller for Air Conditioner. The air conditioner is controlled using internet so, user can control and monitor the air conditioner from anywhere in the world.
The application also has automatic control configuration, this intelligent algorithm is called “Ambi Mode”. User can remotely adjust the temperature of air conditioner using Ambi Climate mobile app. The app can also record the pattern of your temperature changes, then it automatically adjusts the temperature of air conditioner according to your daily routine. The startup claims that, this app can help users save energy bills by as high as 33 per cent.
The project is listed on Kickstarter. Early adopters can grab the device and Ambi Climate mobile app for $99 (Rs 6,100/-) from Kickstarter.
