AMD along with Technology and Gadgets (TAG); its exclusive distributor across India for its Firepro Range of Professional Graphic Cards have launched a new initiative for channel development. As a part of this initiative they have started conducting Channel Training Programs across various cities. In JFM 2013 they have targeted about five Cities, three of which have already been executed and have received great success.
Commenting on this new Initiative Anish Pandey, Business Development Manager – India, AMD Professional Graphics, AMD India Pvt. Ltd. said “The initiative is targeted towards training partners on our recently launched W-Series of Professional Graphics Cards (W5000/W7000/W8000 & W9000) which is based on AMD Graphic CoreNext Technology which allows Parallel Computing. The response that we have received from the 2 Training Programs has been Phenomenal and we look forward to have the same in the other cities that we have planned in March 2013.”
The Training programs are targeted towards the OEM Partners, System Integrators, Solution Providers and Volume Partners in White Box Industry. The trainings provide hands-on experience to the partners and is followed by a small workshop which explains the Advantages of the card on real time applications like CAD, M&E and CAE. IT also provides insights on the Price V/s Performance benefits that the FirePro Cards provide to the Customers.
“The Training also helps the partners in identifying the new Market segments for AMD FirePro Professional Cards and positioning them according to the competitive advantages of the Cards.
