BENGALURU: The Karnataka State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) had planned to digitalize the evaluation system of undergraduate and postgraduate examinations to prevent manipulation of marks and fast-track the process of issuing photocopies of answerscripts% to students.
by this policy after the checking of every undergraduate and postgraduate exam conducted by every state university, answer sheets will be uploaded on the department’s website.this will help to stop the tampering of marks at the level of preparation of the marks list.
Officials sources said a committee is working on the implementation of this project by next academic year.
This year, when the II year pre-university results were out, there were issues like mismatch of marks in the marks cards, and also in the results published on the website. “We are ready to offer this facility to the department of Pre-university education and to the Karnataka secondary education examination board.
They can make use of it to issue photocopies for II PUC and SSLC marks cards in faster way,” KSHEC officials told TOI.
The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) has already digitalized its examination system and the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) announced implementation of a similar project some time ago.
