Apple Music, Apple’s much awaited music service, is reportedly set to be launched at the brand’s Worldwide Developers Conference keynote in June.
The service, based on Beats Music, would be built into a redesigned version of the Music app on iOS, ans would also offer a Mac and Android versions, the Verge reported.
It’ll also offer a social layer, but unlike Ping, only artists themselves will have their own profiles, while regular users would be able to like or comment only using their iTunes accounts.
The service will offer a free trial, hinting towards no long-term free option like Spotify.
