Apple has marked our calendars for September over the years. Every year they come out with the latest entry into their iPhone series with the latest and greatest technology to mesmerize its user and spread a charm on the customers. The all-new iPhone 12 is suspected of having a new look examining Apple’s renewing policy with regards to its products. Many details on the forthcoming iPhone 12’s external design have appeared this week on various sites leaking images and designs. A new report shows 3D-printed mock-ups of four iPhone 12 units, revealing a potential physical design and some insight. They confirm the device’s basic shape, as Apple will be changing the layout and using the old iPhone 4 boxy structure with flat edges. There’s plenty to look forward to this year’s releases as Apple is suspected of changing the dynamics of the market this year.
In this world of ever big displays, Apple seems to have cut down the regular iPhone 12 while its bigger brothers, iPhone 12 Pro And 12 Pro MAX (if they are called this way at launch), will have much bigger screens compared to last year’s models. The iPhone 12 is expected to come in four models, first is the 5.4-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. All of them will have OLED displays, and iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a 120Hz refresh rate. This year iPhone will finally ditch the LCD’s. Having 5g means that the phones will need a new modem as well as a new antenna system that can support the next-gen telecom standard. At the back, the phone space seems to be getting busier, with another addition to the camera module of the three existing sensors called the LiDAR sensor, which is capable of incredible 3-d environmental mapping. Though we are still several months away from the next iPhone launch, and a lot can change over that period, and these are just early speculations. Apple has used its iPhones proprietary Lighting port since the iPhone 5 and is expected to use the more common type-c this year. We do not have any news with certainty, but it is expected to have the same lightning port this year.
Also, Apple’s iOS 14 is expected to be announced at Virtual WWDC, which will kick off on June 22. It will be available with the iPhone 12 and launched in September. Assuming that it won’t be affected by the protest against the police brutality in the US, this event has already been postponed because of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Google and Sony also delayed their respective launches because of these situations. It is also being said that all devices that supported iOS 13 in September last year will be able to download iOS 14 on their devices, breaking the apple pattern, which only allows 4 to 5 generation old phones to use the latest software. Keep following for the latest updates.
