Apple’s default weather app seems to be having some major issues lately, as users around the world are reporting difficulties in displaying weather information. According to reports, some users have been facing this problem for several hours, while others have been affected for a few days.
The issue seems to be related to a server-side problem with Apple’s system, and the company’s system status dashboard page indicates that the Weather app is currently experiencing some problems.
Although the page only mentions Alaska as an affected region, users worldwide have been reporting persistent issues with the app. This can be frustrating for users who rely on the app to get accurate weather updates.
Interestingly, while the Apple Weather app is experiencing issues for some users around the world, it seems that certain devices like MacBooks and Apple Watches are not affected.
Additionally, some users have reported a temporary fix by manually adding a location via the app’s search bar. In our own testing, we were able to get weather data back for a brief period of time using this method.
