Astrum India scales-up Rural Distribution Networks to increase Direct Distribution Reach
Astrum, a new technology brand is focusing to scale up their direct reach in rural area to revitalize its distribution strategy in India with a greater focus on supplying products directly to retailers. The plan includes an ambitious target of directly reaching out to number of villages which contributes 80% of India’s rural consumer goods consumption.
Speaking on the sales network, Mr. Manoj Kumar Pansari, Chairman & Managing Director says, “To further strengthen the channel network, we have tied up with regional distributors who work towards developing distribution channel network covering the entire region. We have now associated with North, and East regional distributor of India who coordinated with the area distributors. We are now targeting to tie up with west and south regional distributor this year, with a keen to develop the sales strategies in market with 360-degree exposure and to mark presence in General Trade, OT/LFR, e-Commerce & Corporate. Soon intend to take Width of Distribution growth to 10,000+ numbers by March 2020. Our target is to make 400 percent growth in India in 2 years and to measure its strong sales achievements.”
With the increase number of production facility in India, Astrum aims to actively increase direct reach in rural India by adding more than 25 per cent new markets to the existing large serviced base.
“We will soon be in all major outlets such as Reliance, Croma, Vijay Sales & so forth, and also intends to take Width of Distribution growth to 10,000+ numbers in coming few months. The facility is also going to cater its global markets and will abide by its stringent quality standards. Our target is to make 400% growth in India in the next two years and to measure our strong sales achievements,” added Mr. Pansari.
Astrum will immediately expand its reach and investments in the top 16,000 markets based on the highest sales potential.
