Megha:- Tell us more about Astrum Holdings Limited and its product range.

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- Astrum Holdings Limited is an energetic and dynamic company that combines technology with human-centered efforts. Our efforts focus on products and accessories related to information technology (IT) and the mobile phone market. Since inception in 2008, we strongly believe in breaking down the barriers between people and technology. We envision ourselves as the undisputable and most reliable brand in providing innovative technology, designs and high quality products assuring to meet and satisfy the ever-changing market needs. Our vision is to make technology affordable by providing latest products with best quality at affordable prices.

Megha:- 8 years of work experience, how do you define the evolution of IT market of India?

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- Interestingly, the Indian IT market is in a transition phase, it is changing faster than ever and we all are witnessing it. Today, everyone wants smart devices to save time and perform tasks faster with efficiency and less effort. The boom of smart devices, watches, accessories, wearables and so on seem to be ever-growing. According to Market research firm the smart appliance market is witnessing rapid growth; it is expected to reach USD 37.2 Billion by 2020, and grow at a CAGR of 15.4% between 2015 and 2020.

Megha:- What are your strategies to nail the Indian market?

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- We all are aware that India holds immense opportunities for accessory products like headphones, cables, adapters etc. due to the enormous number of smart device users, especially youths. The adoption of smart phones, tablets, notebooks, etc. is on upswing.

Keeping our target in mind, we at Astrum offers quality products at affordable prices for all types of users. Apart from that, we have a certain quality analysis process which includes real-time certification and reports, with which we ensure that our customers must get best quality products.

In addition, we actively engage with our ODM / OEM Suppliers in all the stages, say pre-production, production and post-production, to make sure that the quality of product shouldn’t be compromised.

Megha:- What is the global expansion of the channel?

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- Since our inception, we are dedicated in creating intelligent and innovative products. In 2010, we made our footprints in Africa and then expanded to Bangladesh, Australia, Hungary, US, Middle East etc.

Megha:- What is the growth of the channel in India?

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- We currently have our presence in Maharashtra, Orissa, Assam, Bihar, UP, Punjab & Cochin. Our aim is to setup channel pan-India basis and be one of the important players in the market.

Megha:- What are the challenges offered by Indian market and what makes you different from your competition? 

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- We don’t believe in competition instead we keep pace with our customers by manufacturing ingenious products aligned with the latest technology to make their life smart and easy.

Talking about market challenges, like every other manufacturer, we do face tough competition from unbranded products, and especially the ones imported from China as there are large numbers of accessory manufactures unlike local makers in India.

Megha:- What are ‘to be’ launched products of the channel?

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- We are not planning any new category but in our existing category we will be launching new products all the time in peripherals we are coming up with rechargeable mouse, In Audio Waterproof Speakers, In Cables new Type C range, Smart – New VR Glasses, etc.

Megha:- What are your best sold products?

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- Sometimes we do feel that finding the perfect accessory is never ending. No doubt, there are thousands of smartphones out there, and that means tons of cool accessories.  So, to put an end to the search, we come up with ET300, True Wireless Bluetooth Ear buds, to make our users experience real wireless hands free connectivity to devices during call reception. It doesn’t end here, ET300’s left and right ear bud are embedded with music support system, which makes it outstanding product and top selling product of this year.

Megha:- Tell us about Astrum achievements?

Mr. Rohit Agarwal:- Since our establishment, we have focused on manufacturing devices and wide range of accessories suitable to be used with any device.
