Asus accidentally lists upcoming ZenFone 4 smartphones online with images, specs and price

Asus has accidentally revealed all the possible details about its upcoming smartphones online. The Taiwanese tech firm — as spotted by a smartphone tipster Roland Quandt — posted the images, specs and the even the prices of the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Selfie, Selfie Pro and Zenfone 4 Max.
The Asus Zenfone 4 will come in two variants based on the processors – Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. The smartphones will be sporting 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage and 3300mAh battery. They will also feature dual rear cameras including 8MP+12MP setup. The Zenfone 4 will have a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and will cost EUR 499, which means roughly Rs 37,600.
The Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie and the Selfie Pro look identical in terms of design. The Zenfone Selfie Pro will include Snapdragon 625 while the Selfie model will feature Snapdragon 430 SoC. Both will be coupled with 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage and 3000mAh battery. They will include a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen, with the Selfie Pro having a full-HD resolution display and the Selfie featuring a HD resolution display. As the name suggests, the smartphones focus on delivering enhanced selfie shots.
Both have dual front-facing cameras. The ‘Pro’ version will have a 24MP+5MP combo, while the regular version will have a 20MP+8MP combination. The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro was listed for EUR 399 (roughly Rs 30,000) and the Zenfone 4 Selfie was seen with EUR 299 (roughly Rs 22,500) price tag.
The Asus Zenfone 4 Max listed on the website reportedly has a different set of specifications as compared to the one that was launched recently in Russia. This device sports a smaller 5.2-inch screen with HD resolution. It also has a less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor onboard, unlike the previous version’s Snapdragon 430. While the Russia version came with 5000mAh battery, the one listed on the website was seen with 4,100mAh battery. There is also a 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera. It will be priced at EUR 229, which is roughly Rs 17,200.
Asus is still not out with official launch dates of the its Zenfone 4 smartphone series. We might see it announcing some handsets at the upcoming IFA 2017 trade show.
