Asus Announces Pegasus 5000 In China

Asus has added yet another smartphone to its Pegasus series with the launch of Pegasus 5000 in China. It is considered to be the successor of the last year launched Pegasus 2 Plus. Few days ago the device was spotted on the certification site in China.

The device is priced at $198 and will available in China via China Telecom in White and Gold colour options.

On the specifications front, the Asus Pegasus 5000 features a 5.5-inch display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with 2GB of RAM. The onboard storage of the handset accounts to 16GB which can be expanded further using a microSD card.

The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and comes with dual sim functionality. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for clicking selfies. Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFI, Bluetooth, GPS and it houses a 4,850 mAh battery.
