In order to bring gaming resolution, Asus has recently introduced its new MG278Q gaming oriented monitor with a widescreen-quad high-definition (WQHD) display. Featuring a 144Hz refresh rate frequency, the new generation monitor provides 1ms response time and seamless gameplay with AMD’s FreeSync technology.
The new Asus MG278Q monitor sports a 68.58cm (27-inch) WQHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and pixel density of 109 PPI. It fills more pixels and resolution on the same display surface offering 77 per cent more onscreen desktop area than any other monitor of the same specification.
Intel supports VESA’s Adaptive Sync with its integrated GPUs, which incidentally supports VESA based AMD’s FreeSync technology that further eliminates screen tearing and lagging, promising more seamlessness with superior technology.
Its Ultra-Low Blue Light technology minimises blue light emissions and its Flicker-Free technology reduces onscreen flicker to provide incredible gaming experience. If we talk about the connectivity, it comprises two HDMI ports, two fast-charging USB 3.0, a dual-link DVI and a DisplayPort 1.2 with two outputs offering the native WQHD output.
Though the pricing details are still under the wraps, the new revolutionary product by Asus is all set to enter Asia, Europe by the end of this month, and North America within next month.
