Asus Launches Zenfone Go With 2 GB Ram

After announcing four new smartphones in India at its ZenFestival event, Chinese handset maker Asus has Asus_Zenfonequietly launched ZenFone Go. The new smartphone from Asus is listed on the official website. While the pricing details are still under the wraps, ZenFone Go has also been viewed on the site of its online retail partner, Flipkart.

ZenFone Go sports a 12.7cm (5-inch) IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Powered by a quad-core MediaTek (MT6580) processor clocked at 1.3GHz, the phone comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB and 16GB ROM variants which can be further expanded to 64GB via microSD. Backed by a 2070mAh battery, the device will come with 100GB of free Google Drive storage for years.

The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based ZenUI. It has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and laser auto-focus besides a 2MP front-facing camera. It measures 144.5 x 71 x 9.98mm and weighs 135 grams.

With the connectivity of Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB, the handset is expected to come with accelerometer, e-compass, proximity and ambient light sensors.
