Asus has announced two new convertible laptops VivoBook Flip TP301 and TP510 at CES 2016. The convertible laptops will enable users to flip instantly between laptop, tablet, tent, and stand modes to suit the task at hand. The company states that the devices are designed to deliver excellent performance. The convertible laptops will be available in Pure Black and Icicle Gold colour options.
The Asus VivoBook Flip TP301 and TP501 come with a screen size of 13.3-inches and 15.6-inches respectively. The laptops flaunt a metallic finish and a robust 360-degree hinge that let users flip between the different modes. The devices are powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce 940M discrete graphics and run on Windows 10 operating system.
The Asus VivoBook Flip comes with various storage options; users can specify it with up to a 1TB hard disk drive, hybrid storage with a 500GB hard drive and 8GB solid state drive (SSD), or up to a 512GB SSD. The devices pack in a 5WH battery with USB Type C that promises to deliver 10 hours of battery life. It connectivity options include USB 3.1, WiFi and Bluetooth.
The company has also incorporated Asus Gesture technology in the laptops making it easier for users to navigate and control applications via intuitive Windows gestures.
