Asus Unveils ZenScreen Portable Monitor, ZenPad 3S 10 Tablet At IFA 2016

Asus has launched its ZenScreen portable monitor and 53949702ZenPad 3S 10 tablet at the ongoing IFA 2016 event in Berlin, Germany.

Weighing 800 grams, Asus ZenScreen is claimed to be the world’s lightest and slimmest Full HD portable monitor. It can be used as a second screen for laptop, desktop or tablet owners. The ZenScreen features a near edge-to-edge display with ultra-thin 6.5mm bezels and a 1mm foldable smart case which can work as a stand.

The bezel is 60% thinner as compared to earlier launched models. It has a hybrid USB Type-C port which supports power and video transmission.

The company has priced the ZenScreen for 269 Euros. However, there is no word about the official release date.

On the other hand, Asus ZenPad 3S 10 tablet features a 9.7-inch QXGA display of 1536×2048 pixel resolution. Billed as the world’s thinnest tablet, the ZenPad 3S 10 has a screen-to-body ratio of 78%, which makes it one of the most compact 9.7-inch tablets available.

ZenPad 3S 10 is powered by a hexa-core MediaTek processor paired with 4GB of RAM. It offers 64GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB by installing microSD cards. This is the first tablet from the company come with a fingerprint sensor. It also supports an optional ASUS Z Stylus.

It is backed by a 5,900mAh battery that promises to offer 10 hours of battery backup. The battery also features Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology and can be fully charged in about three hours.
Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is priced at 379 Euros. However, there’s no word as to when the tablet will go on sale.
