With the launch of the Zenfone 11 Ultra, Asus appears to have shifted away from producing compact phones, adopting the “Ultra” moniker akin to Samsung and Apple’s “Pro Max” variants.
The latest addition to the Zenfone series comes in four distinct colors and is driven by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen chipset. It features an AMOLED display and showcases various built-in AI functionalities, aiming to set new trends in the smartphone industry.
The Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra, a dual-SIM (Nano) device, operates on the Android 14 platform. It sports a sizable 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED LTPO display with a remarkable screen-to-body ratio of 94 percent. With a peak brightness of 2500 nits and a high refresh rate of 144Hz, the display offers an immersive viewing experience, all while being safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. However, it is unlikely that the Zenfone 11 Ultra will be launched in countries like India.
