Asus Zenfone 2 Is Finally Available In US And Canada Markets
Asus Zenfone 2 is finally available in US and Canada markets. For the customers in US, the smartphone is available via Amazon US. Other retailers are also likely to join the wagon soon, for the sales of Asus Zenfone 2.
Asus had earlier mentioned that the company would launch Zenfone 2 in North America and Canada starting 19 May. According to a press statement released by the company, Jonney Shih, Chairman, Asus, said, “ZenFone 2 has been incredibly popular with consumers in Asia and Europe, and we are very excited to bring this empowering luxury to North America. Striking the perfect balance of beauty, functionality, and performance, ZenFone 2 embodies every aspect of the Asus In Search of Incredible brand spirit to provide an unparalleled experience to users.”
Asus will offer two variants of the smartphone in the markets of US and Canada. Out of the two, the low-end variant of the smartphone would feature 2GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage and run on 1.8GHz Intel Atom 3560 quad-core processor. Where as, the high-end variant will pack 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor. All the other specifications of the both the variants will be similar including 13.97-cm (5.5-inch) full HD display, 5MP front shooter, 13MP rear camera, Android 5.0 with Zen UI, 3000 mAh battery and microSD card slot. The phone features 4G LTE connectivity and comes with dual-SIM support.
According to the company, ASUS ZenFone 2 will be available in red, black, gray and silver from 19 May, 2015, costing US$ 199 for the 2GB RAM/1.8GHz version with 16GB storage and an Intel Atom Z3560 processor, or US$ 299 for the 4GB RAM/2.3GHz version with 64GB storage, an Intel Atom Z3580 processor and a BoostMaster charger. It will be available to order from Amazon.com, B&H, Groupon.com and NewEgg.com in the US and NewEgg.ca, NCIX.com, Canada Computer and Memory Express in Canada.
