Asus Zenfone Go LTE Arrives For Rs 7999

Asus  launched the 4G variant of its ZenFone Go LTE ASUSphone in India. Priced at Rs 7,999, the device is similar to the older variant and includes 4G support. It is available at Amazon India and Snapdeal.

The ZenFone Go LTE offers the same 5-inch 720p HD IPS display. It runs a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8916 processor, instead of the MediaTek SoC on the earlier version, with 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage with support for up to 32GB microSD cards.

The samrtphone mounts a similar 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP selfie camera. It is a dual sim smartphone and runs Android 4.4 KitKat-based ZenUI.

Powered by a 2,500mAh battery and it will be available in Charcoal Black and Pearl White colours.

In the budget range, Asus had launched its ZenFone Max recently. Asus Zenfone Max packs 5,000mAh battery and 5.5-inch HD screen with Gorilla Glass 4. The smartphone has a 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB RAM and will comes with 16GB internal storage option; it will support microSD cards of up to 64GB capacity.

On the back of Zenfone Max is a 13MP rear camera with laser autofocus and dual-tone, dual-LED flash, whereas the front camera has 5MP resolution. This 4G smartphone comes with Asus’s ZenUI software, based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), out of the box.
