ITVoice News: Blackberry will introduce its latest, ‘Passport’ smartphone today in India. The handset is expected to be priced at around Rs. 15,000. The exclusively designed passport size smartphone, might have a tough time to attract customers in India, having competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy series, the Samsung Alpha model, Micromax, XOLO and Lava.
Blackberry passport supports a new and different design but so does the other newly launched smartphones like Galaxy Alpha, iPhone 6 also have some new touch of technology. Thus the challenge for blackberry is not just about the right design but also the number of functions it supports.
Being confident enough about the new smartphone, N.K Goyal, President of CMIE and a Telecom Analyst said, “Give it four to five quarter period…a lot of youth have adopted Black Berry”
Just few more hours to go for launch in Indian market!!
