BluSmart Mobility Expands Mumbai Set for Green Transportation Revolution

Electric ride-hailing platform BluSmart Mobility is set to make its grand entry into Mumbai’s transportation landscape, marking a significant expansion beyond its current operations in Delhi-NCR. The Gurugram-based company, founded by Anmol Singh Jaggi and Punit K Goyal, has announced a strategic launch scheduled for January 1, 2025.

Mumbai’s transportation ecosystem is ready for an electric transformation,” said Tushar Garg, CEO of BluSmart Mobility, during the announcement. “We’re bringing our successful zero-emission ride-hailing model to India’s financial capital, starting with an exclusive invite-only program that ensures a smooth service rollout.”

The company has implemented a carefully planned entry strategy, beginning with an exclusive registration system. Through their official X (formerly Twitter) handle, BluSmart announced on December 28 that select Mumbai residents can now register for priority access to their services through a dedicated online portal.

The registration process requires potential users to provide basic contact information, including name, phone number, and email address. This data will be used to create a curated list of early adopters who will experience BluSmart’s services before the general public launch.

We believe in controlled expansion to maintain our service quality,” explained Anirudh Arun, COO at BluSmart. “The invite-only phase will help us fine-tune our operations while gathering valuable feedback from Mumbai’s discerning commuters.”

This expansion marks BluSmart’s first venture outside the Delhi-NCR region, where it has established itself as a reliable all-electric cab service. The company’s move into Mumbai aligns with Maharashtra’s push for electric mobility and sustainable urban transportation solutions.
