boAt launches their First Smartwatch ‘Storm’ featuring a 1.3in Full touch curved display, 24×7 Heart rate monitor, Step-Counter, SPO2 Monitoring, 9 Sports Modes and a lot more

boAt, a lifestyle consumer tech brand recognized for its high-quality audio product line of smart, stylish yet affordable, and durable ‘hearables’ announces their First Smartwatch called boAt Storm for their fitness enthusiast followers. The boAt Storm that features large and vibrant colored display encased in a solid ergonomically designed metal body and packed with features that will help you stay you fit and healthy throughout the day.

The boAt Storm is a clutter breaking smartwatch. It sports a large 1.3in colored full capacitive touch display which delivers rich graphics for high readability even in bright sunlight. The Storm also features personalized and downloadable cloud-based watch faces that you can use to customize the dial to match your outfit of the day. Available as an OTA after the launch, the cloud-based downloadable watch faces will feature 100+ options for you to choose from. One can download the boAt ProGear app to fully control and customize the watch.

The boAt Storm is also a personal health monitor. Using an in-built SPO2 (real-time blood oxygen level) monitoring and a 24/7 Heart Rate Monitor, you can keep a minute-by-minute track of your immediate health. Additionally, the Watch Storm also features a guided meditative breathing mode that guides you on mindfulness and breath awareness to help you lower your heart rate and thus decrease your stress levels. The watch is specially designed for those who perform high-intensity workouts and require precise health and fitness monitoring. Women can get help to record and predict Menstrual and Ovulation Cycles using the in-built Menstruation Cycle Tracker to stay prepared all the time.

The boAt Storm is built using a metal ergonomically-designed curved body using a Powder Metallurgy Technique that gives it a solid look and feel. Available in two curated colors – Active Black and Black & Blue, the changeable silicone strap options promise to be skin and sweat friendly apart from giving you a very comfortable fit. Made to last even in extreme conditions, every boAt Storm is rigorously tested for reliability before leaving the factory ensuring that our excellent quality control allows you to use it worry-free. Storm also features 5ATM water resistance to keep it safe up to 50m underwater so you can peacefully keep it strapped on wherever you are.

The boAt Storm also features nine Active Sports Modes that include Running, Walking, Cycling, Hiking, Climbing, Fitness, Treadmill, Yoga and Dynamic Cycling; and of the nine, you can select eight of them at one go. 

Other features include curated controls that allow you to use the watch to control your music, volume, tracks and calls. An on-board Find My Phone feature also helps you locate your smartphone using a single click. Receive all your important notifications right on your watch, without the need to even touch your phone. Calls, texts, social media notifications, sedentary alerts, and alarms are all in place to keep you alert at all times. With up to 10 days of battery life, and up to 30 days of standby time, the Storm will always keep you on top of your game. And lastly, our boAt ProGear app will ensure that you can control and customize your Watch Storm with great ease.

The boAt Watch Storm will be available at an introductory price of Rs 1,999 exclusively on Flipkart and boAt’s website, at 12pm on 29th October 2020.
