Brocade today announced that Brocade VNF Manager, a network functions virtualization (NFV) orchestration application based on the OpenStack Tacker Project, has won the Best of Show Grand Prize award at Interop Tokyo 2016, in the category of software-defined infrastructure (SDI)/NFV.
Brocade VNF Manager provides automated NFV orchestration and virtual network functions (VNF) management using standards-based architectures. It helps organizations automate network service delivery while simplifying NFV deployment.
The panel of judges commended Brocade VNF Manager for its pure-play, open-source approach to VNF management and NFV orchestration. The application is available today for easy deployment and integration with existing management tools and OpenDaylight-based SDN controllers.
