After Micromax unveiled its affordable Xpress 2 smartphone and Chinese phone manufacturer Gionee introduced the economical Pioneer P2M, Hyderabad based smartphone manufacturer Celkon has launched the pocket-friendly Millennia Xplore under its Millennia series. Priced at ₹ 6999, the handset is expected to be available in white and golden variants. The firm further said that the newly launched device will come along with a free smart cover.
If we talk about the specifications, Celkon Millennia Xplore comes with a 12.7cm (5-inch) HD display with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The handset runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 with Amigo 3.0 UI on top.
The phone has 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It also features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 8MP front-facing camera to capture beautiful selfies. Backed by 2000mAh battery, its connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and GPS. It also has the ability to double tap for the screen wake-up feature.
