Celkon’s Millennia Octa510 smartphone, soon after going up for sale via an e-commerce website, has been officially announced at Rs. 8,999. The company has announced that the Celkon Millennia Octa510 will be available from online and offline retail stores.
The Millennia Octa510 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) device which runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS OGS display and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. Notably, the Millennia Octa510 is the first octa-core smartphone in the company’s lineup.
It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Millennia Octa510 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, while there is a secondary 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the connectivity front, the Millennia Octa510 offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery and is available in Black colour variant. It measures 143.5x71x9.1mm and weighs 136 grams. The Celkon Millennia Octa510 also features preloaded apps like HotKnot (MediaTek’s NFC-like solution).

Last week, Celkon’s budget Campus-series smartphone, the Campus A400, went on sale via an e-commerce website, priced at Rs. 2,999.
