Celkon had announced the launch of its first Windows Phone based budget device in India, dubbed as Win 400. The smartphone can be availed for Rs. 4,999 from an e-commerce site, Snapdeal, even though there has been no official announcement about the launch from the company yet, nor has it been seen listed on the company’s site.
The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone runs on Windows Phone 8.1 and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) alongside 512MB RAM. It sports 10.16-cm (4-inch) HD (480×800 pixels) IPS display, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 1.3MP front facing camera. the smartphone houses 4GB internal storage space which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
As of now, the smartphone is listed only in black colour at Snapdeal. It packs a 1500mAh battery which as per the company is capable of delivering up to 5 hours of talk time and up to 200 hours of standby time. On connectivity front, it comes with GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro-USB options.
Notably, at the given price on the e-commerce website, Celkon Win 400 is up till now the cheapest smartphone running on Windows Phone 8.1 followed by the Karbonn’s Titanium Wind W4, which can be grabbed for Rs. 5,999.
