Pune-based CMDA (Computer & Media Dealers Association) like every year is organizing its sport day on 17th Feb, 2013 at S.P. College grounds. More than 200 participants will take part in the daylong event that will include members along with their families.
The main event planned for this day is the cricket match, The CMDA – INTEX PREMIER LEAGUE 2013 where 6 teams comprising of 8 players each will be participating. 2 vendors have also been approached this time and the teams formed will be a mix of predominantly association members and representatives from these vendors.
CMDA has also included Badminton matches this time and has received great response from the members. The Badminton matches will be played one day prior to the Sports Day to save time. A Special event management company has been hired to handle family events like varieties of fun games, quiz, entertainment and other activities during the day.
The day will start with the Registration process when everyone will assemble at 8.30 AM in the morning, followed by the Matches and games before concluding with lunch, High Tea and finally the much awaited prize distribution ceremony.
CMDA-INTEX SPORTS DAY is eagerly awaited by all members as this is a platform where all members and family get to come together and enjoy a full day filled with sports and fun. “The objective behind organizing such activities on a regular basis is to encourage everyone to come together and interact with each other. This is a ‘breaking the ice’ practice among all our members and their family members,” says Deepak Agarwal, Secreatary, CMDA.
