Three day conference for thought leaders, policy makers, strategists, researchers, academicians, GIS & ICT professionals
Esri India, the country’s leading Geographic Information System (GIS) Software & Solutions provider, announced that the 16th edition of its flagship event, the Esri India User Conference (UC) is scheduled to be held in Delhi from December 2 – 4, 2015. With the theme “GIS: Creating Our Future”, this year’s UC will provide insights into the ways GIS technology can be leveraged in leading government initiatives like smart cities, digital India, smart governance and disaster management.
Esri India User Conference is country’s largest GIS event that brings together thought leaders, strategists, policy makers, researchers, academicians, software developers and professionals working in the GIS and ICT space.
Jack Dangermond, Founder and President, Esri Inc. and a renowned name in the GIS industry worldwide will be delivering a keynote address at this year’s UC which will feature over 80 sessions with over 100 speakers. More than 1000 delegates are expected to participate in the event and listen to key speakers like Dr. Shailesh Nayak, Former Secretary of Ministry of Earth Science, Mr. Kamal Kishore, Member – NDMA, Dr. D S Meshram, Chairman Emeritus, ITPI India and Dr. GS Srinivasa Reddy, Director, KSNDMC, Bangalore.

Esri India had organized an App development contest – “mApp Your Way” for university level students that offered an exclusive opportunity for them to use GIS and build socially relevant Apps. The conference will conclude with the awards ceremony for the winners of this contest.
