Delhi Association Solves Supertron’s Rs 2 Cr payment Dispute With 4 Partners

The dispute settlement committee of Delhi-based PCAIT Association has made a major breakthrough in settling a year long payment of Rs 2 crores between the national distributor Supertron Electronics and four partners from Delhi.

The association said the dispute was amicably resolved within seven days.

Alok Gupta, president of PCAIT informed, “Our team started acting on this case when Supertron filed a written complaint regarding the delay of payments by four Delhi-based partners ComHard, Little Rose, Karishma Computers and Baba Computers. When our committee investigated the matter, we found that the four partners showed the inability to pay the distributor money as their back-end money was being held by one of the major PC players for last one year. With a timely intervention and cooperation from the involved parties, our association resolved the dispute in a minimum time of 10 days.”

The association managed to recover Rs 1.35 crore from the PC major, which was later given to partners and Supertron. Alok headed the entire settlement as a facilitator on PCAIT’s behalf.

Gupta added, “This has been one of the major achievements of our dispute settlement committee, with the positive role of the PC major in checking the pending backend rebates of four partners. It released the credit note to the partners, later the distributor got its money.”

Vibhor Agarwal, Director, Supertron, he confirmed the role of PCAIT as a facilitator in resolving the issue, but he refused to comment on the payment amount being received.

Nirmal Meharia, director, Finance and Operation, Supertron, confirmed, “Out of the four partners, Com Hard and Little Rose have returned the money, while Baba Computers has made partial payment and Karishma has yet to make the payment to us.” He also thanked PCAIT’s role in resolving the dispute with the partners.”
