Dell Technologies has teamed up with Qualcomm and Microsoft to launch a new range of AI-powered consumer PCs in India, known as the Copilot+ AI PCs. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen Dell’s market presence by introducing cutting-edge technology that meets the changing demands of both consumers and professionals.
The new lineup includes the XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus models, which are powered by Qualcomm’s advanced Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus processors. These processors bring enhanced AI capabilities, enabling features such as co-creator tools, live captions, and Windows Studio effects, which aim to improve the overall user experience.
Pujan Chadha, Director of Product Marketing for Consumer and Small Business at Dell Technologies India, expressed enthusiasm about the new products. He stated, “With the new XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus, we are setting a new benchmark in personal computing. These devices are equipped with AI capabilities that adapt intuitively to users’ needs, enhancing performance, connectivity, and multitasking capabilities.”
This launch marks Qualcomm’s entry into the Dell PC lineup, introducing advanced AI features that are expected to transform personal computing. Saurabh Arora, Qualcomm India’s Mobile, Compute, and XR Business Head, highlighted the importance of this partnership, saying, “This collaboration represents a pivotal moment in India’s PC ecosystem. The Snapdragon X Series will redefine user experiences with its advanced AI capabilities and exceptional power efficiency, allowing for seamless multitasking and improved security.”
The announcement comes shortly after a similar launch from ASUS, which unveiled India’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon-powered Copilot+ laptop, the Vivobook S 15. This competitive landscape underscores the growing importance of AI in personal computing, as manufacturers strive to meet consumer demands for smarter and more efficient devices.
The new XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus models will be available for purchase through both online and offline platforms, starting July 16. The XPS 13 will have a starting price of ₹1,39,990, while the Inspiron 14 Plus will be priced from ₹1,15,590.
