Dell Inc. updated its line of slim consumer Dimension desktop PCs with a multiformat expansion card reader, the first time such a feature has appeared in a Dell PC, a company spokesman said.
The Optiplex Micro Desktop PCs, with two models namely OptiPlex 9020 and OptiPlex 3020, pack a lot of power and performance into a compact unit.
With a chassis design of only 1.2 liters, which is 67 pc smaller than Dell’s smallest regular desktop form factor, the new OptiPlex 9020 and OptiPlex 3020 Micro PCs provide the power working professionals seek in a desktop while answering the needs of smaller – or more specialized – working spaces.
The OptiPlex 9020 Micro is ideal for environments where space is limited and security is a priority, while the OptiPlex 3020 Micro provides essential business class performance in a compact unit.
The new OptiPlex Micro starts at Rs 26,799 (Ubuntu) and Rs 35,399 (Win 8 Pro) and are available in India. The company has identified key areas where this desktop will be well suited are: Healthcare and Manufacturing, Call Center, Finance and Banking, Education/Manufacturing and Healthcare.
