Dell Venue 7 and Venue 8 voice-calling tablets launched in India

Dell has launched Venue 7 and Venue 8 tablets with voice-calling facility in India. The new voice calling tabs are priced at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 18,999 respectively.The Dell Venue 7 runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is powered by Intel processor. It has a 7.0 inch Direct bond IPS with HD (1280 x 800) with capacitive multi-touch display. Other features of the Venue 7 include Intel HD Graphics (Imagination PowerVR G6400), 16GB eMMC Hard Drive, 802.11 AC WiFi with Bluetooth 4.0. Check out the full specifications of the tablet here.

Dell is heavily focussing on a Venue ecosystem, which includes software, accessories and services. This includes Accidental Damage Service which is offered on all Dell Venue tablets and protects users’ devices against liquid spills, drops, power surges and screen cracks. This service includes repair and if required, whole unit replacement.

Dell is also offering 20GB of free Dropbox storage for one year. The new tablets come equipped with a number of apps including those for note taking, cloud printing, document retrieval etc.
