Delta Receives National Excellence Award from MNRE at the National Workshop on Rooftop Solar

Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions has been honored with the National Excellence Award from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) at the National Workshop on Rooftop Solar conducted at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The National Workshop was conducted specifically for the rooftop solar industry to launch new policies which will help improve the solar energy sector and serve as a platform for various stakeholders to showcase the latest developments in the sector.

The award was presented to Delta for Rooftop Solar Power Projects in the Solar Inverters category recognizing its outstanding contributions towards the development of the Indian rooftop solar sector. Dalip Sharma, Managing Director, Delta Electronics India along with Niranjan Nayak, Vice President, Solar Inverters, received the prestigious award from Piyush Goyal, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Power, Coal, New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.

Delta is the top grid tied string inverter supplier in India in the rooftop segment with a total market share of more than 22%. Delta’s total installation capacity to date is 260 MW in both string and central inverter applications.
