The board is compatible with all of UEI’s popular Cube, RACKtangle and FlatRACK chassis. What sets this board apart from others on the market is its flexibility to be used in widely varying applications. This includes:
Input range from 3.3 V to 150 V
Monitors both AC and DC inputs
Monitors contact closures without any external components
Fully programmable logic high/low levels and hysteresis
Automatic change-of-state detection with 200 µS resolution time stamps
Diagnostics include built-in A/D for analog voltage measurement of each input
Internal signal injection for BIT (Built-In-self-Test)
Self-test/BIT operates without disconnecting field wiring
Programmable debounce intervals for contact monitoring
Software included with the DNx-DIO-449 provides a comprehensive yet easy to use API that supports all popular Windows programming languages. UEI also provides factory written drivers for all popular non-Windows operating systems including Linux, QNX, VxWorks, RTX, InTime, and more. Finally, the UEIDAQ Framework supplies complete support for those creating applications in data acquisition software packages such as LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, DASYLab or any application which supports ActiveX or OPC servers.
