Domino’s Pizza has launched a new app which would help you track your order. The popular pizza chain has pitched the GPS Driver Tracker, which enables customers and the company to track delivery drivers via GPS.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the food chain is also expected to include fun facts about each driver, like what music he was listening to on the way over. The GPS Driver Tracker has already completed its testing phase in 50 Domino’s stores across Australia.
The GPS Driver Tracker is not only an opportunity for customers to track their pizza delivery, but also for the company to ensure the safety of its delivery drivers.
Though, the company already lets people place an order and track it until cooking; the tracking stops after it hits the road. Hence, the GPS Driver Tracker happens to be the latest technology-led invention to be announced by the popular food chain. Domino’s claims to be the first company worldwide to allow customers to track pizza deliveries on smartphones, tablets, and smart TVs.
