DrivePro 220 Car Video Recorder Launched Transcend
Transcend has released its new DrivePro 220 Car Video Recorder which features a built-in GPS receiver and Wi-Fi connectivity. The recorder has a large F/1.8 aperture, a wide 130° viewing angle, a built-in battery and a G-sensor emergency recording function. The DrivePro 220 claims to provide the optimum protection on the road to the users. The DrivePro220 Car Video Recorder has been priced in India at Rs. 11,990 and further carries a two-year warranty.
Featuring a large F/1.8 aperture, the DrivePro 220 can automatically adjust for different lighting conditions and capture all details of an incident, including license plates, during either daytime or nighttime. The DrivePro 220’s camera integrates a wide 130° viewing angle and a Full HD imaging sensor for clear and smooth 1080p (30fps) recordings. In addition, with a built-in Li-Polymer battery, the DrivePro 220 can continue to record for up to 30 seconds when the car loses power to ensure the important evidence is captured. Alternatively, the DrivePro 220 can be manually activated to record up to 30 minutes on a fully charged battery without a power supply.
GPS Receiver to Log Driving Records DrivePro 220’s built-in GPS receiver can log GPS coordinates, date and time into the recorded video footage. During an incident, the GPS coordinates can help drivers precisely locate where they are so as to contact the Emergency Road Service, police or insurance company. When used with Transcend’s DrivePro Toolbox on a computer, consumers using Windows system can see the driving paths of the entire journey along with necessary information such as GPS coordinates, speeds, date and time.
Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS) for Extra Safety
DrivePro 220’s Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) monitors the lane markings on the roadway and warns the driver whenever the driving speed exceeds the preset value and the vehicle starts to deviate from its lane. Additionally, the Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS) will warn the driver when the driving speed exceeds the preset value and the vehicle gets too close to the car ahead.
Parking Mode to Safeguard the Vehicle for the Driver With the latest motion detection technology, DrivePro 220 can automatically start recording when the sensor detects a movement or an impact in Parking Mode.
Wi-Fi & Exclusive DrivePro App
Its built-in Wi-Fi and supported by the free downloadable DrivePro App, for Apple iOS and Android devices, the DrivePro 220 can be operated by a passenger as the driver gets on with the task of driving. When connected to the DrivePro 220’s dedicated wireless network, users can view live video footage during recording, playback and download videos, and easily adjust DrivePro 220 settings directly from their smartphone or tablet.
