IT Voice – What role does innovation play in Syntel by Arvind’s continued success, and how do you foster a culture of innovation within the organization?

Sandeep Kerulkar – We at Syntel by Arvind believe that innovation delivers value to Customers and stakeholders and it should sustain over the long term.  At Syntel by Arvind we continuously create and adopt new ideas that positively impact businesses, leading to improved solutions, products, services and processes, or business models that meet market needs and help us in addressing customer pain points / challenges. To foster innovation and creativity we have created a culture which values experimentation, encourages diverse perspectives, celebrates successes and treats failures as learning opportunities.  

IT Voice- What strategies have you employed to streamline operations and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer value?

Sandeep Kerulkar- To streamline operations, we strive to optimise and improve efficiency of tasks and processes to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, redundancies and inefficiencies, ultimately leading to faster decision making & quick desired results. This reinforces further agility in the organisation to quickly adapt and meet customer expectations.  We actively listen to the customer’s voice and align our offerings matching with their needs and expectations.  Customer responsiveness is at the core of every activity at Syntel by Arvind which directly or even indirectly contributes to create the Customer experience. 

IT Voice- How has the role of technology evolved in driving operational efficiencies and better customer experiences at Syntel by Arvind?

Sandeep Kerulkar- Digital Transformation over last few years has been a key enabler at Syntel by Arvind to enhance operational efficiencies. Strategic integration of ERP, CRM and inhouse developed digital platforms have significantly improved our operational workflows, productivity and scalability.  Digital Transformation is a perpetual process at Syntel by Arvind which will enable us to adapt and evolve our business strategies, operations and technologies to stay competitive today & tomorrow in the everchanging digital landscape.  

IT Voice – The IT and telecom industry is rapidly evolving. What are the biggest challenges and opportunities you foresee in the next few years?

Sandeep Kerulkar- Rapid development in 5G, AI & IOT technologies will create opportunities for innovation and new services.  Shift to cloud offerings across end-to-end converged solutions portfolio will enable service agility, innovation and global reach for solution providers like Syntel by Arvind.   On the other hand, increasing incidences of cyberattacks and data breaches will position a significant threat to the industry.  Navigating through different regulatory compliances is a tough challenge.  Integrating new technologies with legacy systems will be much larger issue for the Enterprises while adapting to customer demands

IT Voice- With the rise of digital transformation, how do you see Syntel by Arvind adapting to the changing landscape of IT and telecom services?

Sandeep Kerulkar –To adapt in rapidly changing IT & Telecom landscape due to digital transformation, Syntel by Arvind shall embrace innovation, upskill our customer-facing workforce always keeping customer centricity at the core of its GTM.  Syntel by Arvind has agility to quickly adapt to new revenue streams leveraging technologies like Cloud, AI & IOT.  Fast changes on the technology horizon drive high rate of product obsolescence and this will drive enterprise customers to migrate from upfront CAPEX investments to OPEX financial models. Syntel by Arvind is ready with its attractive OPEX models ensuring return on technology investment and facilitating timely upgrade to the latest technologies.  

IT Voice- What is your perspective on the future of telecom in India, particularly with the roll-out of 5G and its potential impact on business operations?

Sandeep Kerulkar – With a phenomenal growth in cellular & internet penetration across the country, India is ready for a future driven by 5G. And with Make in India (MII) initiative, our country is ready to transform in to a global telecom hub. 

IT Voice-  What emerging trends in IT and telecom excite you the most, and how do you plan to leverage them at Syntel?

Sandeep Kerulkar- Most exciting emerging trend is the interplay of Telecom & AI technologies which will impact everyone and will be at the forefront to drive the transformational economy growth.  Our focus has been to co-create customized solutions and applications with customers to address their complex challenges.

IT Voice- What do you see as the next big breakthrough in IT and telecom, and how is Syntel by Arvind preparing to capitalize on it?

Sandeep Kerulkar- In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, breakthroughs are happening every day, making it difficult to pinpoint the ‘next big thing’—because in many ways, we are already living it and as far as its about our company, we are committed to stay ahead by partnering with leading OEMs to deliver comprehensive, one-stop solutions for our enterprise clients. We are continuously expanding our product portfolio to meet the evolving needs of the market and address the demands of the hour.
