Edimax has achieved 150% YoY growth. In 2012, 70% of the business was generated in the SOHO segment followed by 15% in SMB and 10% in Surveillance segment. Edimax routers contributed the major share in the sales growth followed by Wi-Fi adaptors. Edimax has a strong network base of 50+ partners in the North and West India and plans to double its growth in 2013 by aggressively targeting the market of South India.
Edimax have always launched complete solutions for SOHO environments be it range extenders, routers or Wi-Fi adaptors. Edimax designs and launches at least 2 models in every category every quarter. They were the first brand to launch the universal range extender (EW-7438RPn). Edimax has seen an increasing demand for router in India due to various Wi-Fi enabled devices coming into the market. However, routers in SOHO segment have grown exponentially as compared to SMB routers. Wi-Fi Adaptors of Edimax has also seen significant growth due to the vast range and various categories available.
